	Welcome The holidays are over--and before you know it we will be back in festival season. I will be scaling back this year due to the economy. I have also had to take the selling part of the website down at this point. Like everyone else out there, cutting back! Please get in touch with me if there is anything I can help you with. Midge's Ark-- My name is Donna "Midge" Adams. Midge's Ark is a website where one can find quality "hand turned" pens, pencils, and decorative wooden items. Each item is unique, since I do not use copying techniques to mass produce. I also recycle materials to turn whenever possible. Whether it is left-over counter-tops of corian that turns into keychains, or hard wood flooring that becomes a hand turned pen and pencil set, the end result is better than in a landfill. I am a self-taught turner--that produces hand turned pen/pencil sets, key-chains, letter openers, magnifying glasses and many more items. If there is something special you are looking for and just can't seem to find it anywhere--just ask!! The name Midge's Ark came from my love of animals. I have "been found" by several animals that have lived long, spoiled lives at my house. I have lost four very special "kids" in 2007 and I dedicate this site to them. Each one was special in their own way. I encourage all to go to your local shelters and rescue organizations to find a new best friend. Midge's Ark offers many items for the office or home. Custom hand turned pen and pencil sets with matching magnifying glass and letter openers are the most popular. Women prefer the hand turned perfume pens, compact mirrors and compact medicine boxes. I have not forgotten the men. Custom "bullet cartridge" pens in gold and silver are available for the hunters in the family. Unique gifts can be found for all ages in the form of collectable "egg-o-scopes", kaleidoscopes, and tops. For the wine connoisseur, we offer bottle stoppers and cork screws of all types.
